At NEXAT, you’ll take on responsibility for financial accounting and work with our team to further develop the related processes. In doing so, you’ll gain insight into an internationally active company in the agricultural machinery industry.
Your Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on day-to-day financial accounting. In addition, you will contribute your expertise to financial closings and the further development of our processes.
Financial Accounting: You will independently process business transactions in the general ledger as well as in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank accounting.
Monthly and Annual Financial Statements: You will assist in preparing the financial statements and compile the necessary reconciliations and documentation.
Accounts and Fixed Asset Accounting: You reconcile accounts, resolve outstanding issues, and maintain the fixed asset ledger.
Payment Transactions: You will prepare payments and process payment transactions in accordance with the established approval processes.
Processes and Digitalization: You’ll contribute suggestions for improvement based on your day-to-day work and help implement more efficient, digital accounting processes.
International Collaboration: You will provide support on accounting matters in communication with our foreign subsidiaries.
Inventory and Valuation: From an accounting perspective, you will contribute to projects related to inventory management, inventory valuation, and inventory analysis.
What you'll bring to the role
Qualification: A completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by further education in finance or accounting.
Professional experience: Several years of practical experience in financial accounting; experience in an international environment is welcome.
ERP knowledge: A secure handling of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or a comparable system.
Care and structure: You work reliably and accurately, set priorities, and keep deadlines in mind.
Structured working method and Resilience: You work reliably and accurately, set priorities, and maintain an overview even during time-critical closing tasks.
Collaboration: You address open questions early and coordinate with your colleagues.
Creativity: You question existing processes and enjoy developing practical improvements.
Language skills: English skills are advantageous for communication with our international contacts.
